Powerpoint Presentation - maximum 10 slides
Please read the instructions carefully for the 2nd last phase of your PP. This is the formal presentation that your group will do to get 30 marks. There are 3 parts to this phase.
PS: If your leader had given me the email address last week, I would have mailed the rubrics or marking scheme already and you would have a great advantage over others as only 2 leaders had sent me email. You would also know that the last part of your work would be your reflection.
1. The presentation - 10 slides. (advice- use pictures of your own playground to enhance your slides or to explain your concepts) . You should use a minimum of 8 slides as you may like to display your creation in a more glorious way :)
i) The title slide - Name of leader and members, Name of Playground, Target group
ii) Reasons why you had chosen the specific target group - this could be an emotional reason or a more mundane one.
iii) The characteristics of your target group
iv) Special features of your playground and connect to the specific needs of your target group
v) From scrap to playground slide (only one slide for this)
vi) Reasons for your layout/why your playground was designed in a particular way
WARNING:
Do NOT write out your whole presentation.
LIST only main ideas and the presenter will have the notes of explanation. DO NOT drown me in words on ppt.
2E4 - if you can get your ppt ready, I can listen to your presentation and give you advice. If you have a rough plan, you can also show it to me tomorrow for my input.

BluePrint for Playground
Before you create your playground for your target group, it is important to have a complete plan or blueprint of your playground.
This plan is one that would allow you to create and plan for the whole playground. You have to put all playground elements in the correct position for maximum use for your target group. You also need to have a LEGEND for the various elements.
What you need to do:
1. Provide explanations about your elements and CONNECT these items to (a) your target group (b) your novel.
2. Indicate the type of materials you would use for each element and why.
3. Indicate the student responsible for these items.
4. Indicate if you have used recycled materials, reused them (from where and what) or reduced them (in what way) . The 3 Rs are imporant in your plan.
5. You can have a black and white drawing or you can actually do it in colour (but do not colour in class as you have to start building your playground tomorrow )
cheers
